This has been an exciting year at Terry Redlin as we were Striving for Five: On time, all day, every day, each week.
Nineteen students won a weekly drawing throughout the year. On average 240.6 students were present on time, all day, every day, each week throughout the year.
Each grade participated in a firefighter encounter which was either an extra recess with firefighters, a tour of a firetruck, or tour of the fire station. This was earned due to having eight better or best days of classroom attendance.
The fourth graders had the best average daily attendance for the year which won them a meal from Chick fil A. They also had the best 3rd quarter attendance which earned them each a churro.
We at Terry Redlin are thankful for those in our community that invest in our students and are willing to collaborate alongside us and donate time and incentives.
Nine students were present on time, all day, every day, each week for the full school year, achieving perfect attendance this year. Thirty-nine students improved their attendance ten or more days in the 23/24 school year in comparison to the previous school year.
As a school we are continually seeking ways to improve our attendance as our goal is 94% average daily attendance. Our currently enrolled students had about 91.5% average daily attendance. Terry Redlin students were able to make some great strides in improving attendance. However, we look forward to next year as we continue to Strive for Five: On time, all day, every day, each week.
